Highly recommended place. It’s very cozy, comfortable, and has a spectacular view. The location is excellent, with great access routes, and public transportation is literally just a 3-minute walk away, making it very easy to get directly to Boston. Philip is an excellent host and definitely has one of the best places in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice place to stay during the off season. We were on the 3rd floor, great view of the ocean from our room, room was as described with a bathroom in the hall. Very clean and cozy, nicely decorated with ocean theme, comfortable beds. Could hear the wind during out stay (high winds and rainy), bring ear plugs if this would bothers you.

Beautiful place to stay, with a perfect view of the ocean witch is a big plus Phill and Jamie (his daughter)very helpful, and polite, always checking out in you asking how is your stay going! And Tom the person uncharged of the building is awesome! Makes you feel at home Made my trip definitely worth it, highly recommended!!

I stayed here and it was exactly what I needed. Being right on the ocean made the entire experience feel peaceful and grounding. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The location couldn’t have been better stepping outside and being that close to the ocean was great If you’re looking for a restorative escape by the water, this place delivers. I left feeling recharged and would absolutely return.

Lovely stay! My sister and I were in Boston for one night. - quick Uber ride to the city and come home to the ocean! Lovely and quiet super quick response times and kindness all around!

My kid and I stayed at Phil’s place. After we arrived, Kim made sure we were okay. We also ran into Phil, and he was super friendly and nice. I would highly recommend his place.

Beautiful shared space right on the beach! The hosts were extremely accommodating and attentive. It was 4th of July weekend, and they even grilled some food for the guests to enjoy. Overall, a great experience. If I’m coming back to Winthrop, I’ll check this place out again!

From start to finish, our stay at Phil’s place was amazing. What truly made it special was Jamie! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for every step of the way. She was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive, always ready with great local tips or help when we needed it. The place itself was just as described—clean, cozy, and in a great walkable area with awesome restaurants nearby. Even when we had a small issue with a door lock, Jamie jumped in to help and made things right without hesitation. We could tell she genuinely cared about our comfort and experience, which made all the difference. Everything was super clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and checkout. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a room—and a host who feels more like a friend—this is it. We’re so grateful for the experience and hope to stay again in the future.
